Salmon Spread

This delicious spread is so simple to make, and is versatile enough to serve for Sunday brunch or as a holiday appetizer.  We paired it with our Sesame Seed Crackers, sliced cucumbers, tomatoes and onions for a healthy, midday snack. 


1 - 8oz. package of cream cheese (we used Philly reduced fat)

1/2 cup sour cream (we used reduced fat)

1 - 4 oz. package of salmon lox (set aside 1/4 of pack finely chopped)

1 Teaspoon lemon juice

1/4 cup fresh dill (finely chopped)

1/4 Teaspoon ground black pepper


In a food processor, blend cream cheese, lemon juice and sour cream until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.

Transfer from processor to bowl. Mix in the remaining chopped lox. Cover and chill in the refrigerator before serving.
