We needed a special spread to go with our amazing Romano & Black Pepper Flatbreads, since we only make them once in a while. Bruschetta sounded perfect, so we added a bit of a twist and came up with this recipe for Creamy Bruschetta Spread.
Mix all ingredients together except Panko and 1/4 cup of the basil. Refrigerate cheese mixture for 2 hours. When a bit firm, roll mixture into balls. Mix Panko and remaining basil and put in a bowl. Roll cheese balls in Panko until covered.
That's it!! Serve with fresh tomatoes, maybe some salami, and of course Roots & Branches Romano & Black Pepper Flatbreads!
