Cheddar Stout Spread

We've found a perfect game day treat to go with our Olive Oil crackers, combining two distinctive tastes...Stout and Cheddar! For this recipe we used our favorite Black Mocha Stout from Highland Brewing Co., of Asheville. 

This recipe is very simple and can be adjusted to fit your particular taste, and only requires a blender or food processor.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 lb. Sharp Cheddar (cut up)
  • 4oz. Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 Cup Stout 
  • 1 tsp. Dry Mustard
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 tbsp. Caraway Seeds

OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS:

Garlic Salt, Paprika, Black Pepper

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DIRECTIONS:

In a blender, combine Cheddar and Cream Cheese until smooth. Add Stout, Worcestershire, dry mustard and Caraway seeds. Blend well then taste. Add more of whatever you want. We added extra cheddar and Stout! 

Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving. Our Olive Oil Crackers make an excellent pairing for this spread. Their mild flavor allows the cheddar and stout to shine.
